The Lobos (10-9, 6-3) return home for a three-game home stand, starting Saturday night against a struggling Nevada (8-11, 2-6) squad. The Lobos won the first meeting in Reno 69-63, even without the services of Alex Lapeyrolerie. However, the other three guards did well filling in for her, combining for 53 points (Cherise Beynon 25, Mykiel Burleson 18 and Jayda Bovero 10). If the Lobos can take care of the ball better in this game (17 turnovers in the first meeting), they should be able to win this game going away.

News and Notes:
- The Lobos will play two games in less than 24 hours, as they will take on Northern New Mexico College on Sunday afternoon to replace the cancelled game against Eastern Illinois. I expect to see limited minutes for Beynon and Richelle van der Keijl in this game. Of course, with a limited roster, the Lobos will still have to play starters decent minutes.
- This home stand is very important for the Lobos. If they can win both MW games against Nevada and UNLV, they will be in a great position to finish in the top 4 and most likely top 3.

Game Prediction:
The Lobos are favorites in this matchup and should be able to win this game by 10+ points. Look for Beynon to have another huge game, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the game where we see a triple-double out of her. I have the Lobos at 77% chance of winning the game, with the final score being 79-65.
