Hello,

It has been a while since we/I (Zach) have written an article on here, and I thought that it was a great time to change that and give an update on what is going on. First off we (both Jono and Zach) are doing well. Second a lot has happened the last few years both in the world and in our lives, and it has led to a very difficult time to put words into articles. At the end of last summer one of our grandparents fell ill and was up and down for the better part of 4+ months before passing away, this filled with other problems made it difficult to giving you my best work, leading to mostly Twitter coverage. I can say that I am ready for the 2022-2023 sports year, and excited for the stories that will come out of this year. Here are some updates on what we/I hope the 2022-2023 year will look like for Lobo Lane.

Previews and Recaps: The goal will to have Previews and Recaps for most if not all events this year. I will do my best to cover as much topics and events as possible. It is likely that most sports beside Football and Basketball will have overview of Previews and Recaps. Recaps will be in the form of Zach’s Reacts.

Lobo Lane Pod: We will have the return of the Pod soon. I don’t know what the Pod will look like moving forward, but it will likely be me and guests around the Lobo Athletic community, with the hope that Jono will be able to record an episode here and there. PSA: If there is a former player or coach that you would like me to try and get on the Pod let me know, and I will see if that can happen.

Larger Pieces: The plan is for me to have a couple of larger pieces throughout the year, and I am excited about a few of the pieces I have planned.

Jono’s Role: When we started Lobo Lane almost 7 years ago, both of us were in different spots in our lives and this allowed for both of us to have more time to work on this project. We both lived in Albuquerque when we started (that has changed), and Jono’s career and family (3 kids instead of 0) has made it difficult for him to do much with this project. Jono will still be around and is still the editor of this project. If time allows I’m sure that you will see Jono around some.

Merch?: I have been trying to figure out if we should launch some Lobo Lane Merch. If that is something you would be interested in let me know.

It’s good to be back, and I can’t wait to see what this year has instore.
